Jimmy's Music Collection - 11.07.2022

It's been a week, and the new EQ blew up again. I was so pissed when I walked in, and it would not turn on. If you are in the market for a new EQ, I suggest you pass on this unit. I hooked my old AudioSource EQ up, and I had an extra Behringer Compressor, so I hooked those up, and my records sound SOOOOO good now. Here are my listens from today and the weekend.

Stranger Things 4 - Soundtrack

What a freakin' show and the creators sure know how to pick the music. Not only do the songs fit the scenes, but they also make great listens.

Hits - Tarzan Boy, Rock Me Amadeus, Pass The Dutchie, and a freaking fantastic version of Separate Ways by Journey.

Format: Vinyl - CD

Red Hot Chili Peppers - Return of the Dream Canteen.

I am a huge RHCP fan. I have really enjoyed the past 2 releases from the boys. This latest release is a solid listen.

Format: Vinyl

Daryl Hall John Oates - Rock 'N Soul Part 1.

My goal is to see H&O one more time. I saw them about five years ago with Tears For Fears. What a show. This was the first cassette I ever owned. I still have it to this day, but it is in bad shape, but being me I have it many times.

Hits: All of them, but this album gave us Say It Isn't So and Adult Education.

Format: Vinyl, CD, Cassette.

Queen - The Game

Oh, Freddie, what a voice. I am so sad he was taken from us so young. This was the band's 8th album, released in 1980. It was the only Queen album to hit #1.

Hits: Play The Game, Another One Bites The Dust, Crazy Thing Called Love, Save Me.

Format: Vinyl

No Doubt - Icon

The first time I heard No Doubt, I was hooked. Gwen has such a distinct voice. I was lucky not to be on Top 40 radio when Don't Speak was a hit, so I still love the song. LOL!

Hits: Don't Speak, Just A Girl, Hey Baby, Hella Good, and many more.

Format: Vinyl
