Day 3 - Jimmy's Music Collection

Welcome to LOUD Wednesday. I was in the mood to listen to some loud albums today, with electric guitars, real drums, and loud singers!

Here we go!a,

Kiss - KISSWORLD

I have had this one in the collection for a while now. This was my 2nd listen, and after this one, I realized something. I like KISS.

Sure it has all the hits like Beth., Rock and Roll All Nite, Hard Luck Woman, and my favorite Disco tune; I Was Made For Lovin' You.

Format: Vinyl

Billy Idol - Vital Idol

Who did not have this one in the late 80s? Billy Idol had quite the decade in the 80s, and Vital Idol was a great showcase. The album has remixed versions of Idol's hits and the #1 Hit Mony Mony.

This is always a go-to album for me.

Format: Vinyl - CD - Cassette

Def Leppard - Hysteria

This is the point of the day when I decided I was going to ROCK OUT and LOUD today.

Hysteria is the radio hit-friendly Def Leppard album. Love Bites, Hysteria, Pour Some Sugar On Me, Animal, and more. This is a classic album from Track 1 to Track 12.

Format: Vinyl - CD

Pearl Jam - Ten

I was not going all 80s Metal today. I had to break this one out for LOUD Wednesday. I can't tell you how many times I have cranked this one.

I saw Pearl Jam back in 1995 at Soldier Field. What a show! You can bet there will be more Pearl Jam as the days go on.

Format: Vinyl - CD

Foo Fighters - Greatest Hits

I think everyone should own this one. It's packed with hit after hit.

Everlong, Big Me, All My Life, Best Of You. FREAKING JAMS!

There will be more Foo Fighters, and there will be Nirvana in the coming days.

Format: Vinyl - CD

I went back to some classic 80's Hair Metal on this one.

I was never a huge fan of Dokken growing up, but about 20 years ago, I gave the catalog a listen, and yes, there must have been something wrong with me.

The Hunter, In My Dreams, and Jaded Heart are my favorites on this album.

Format: Vinyl

Quiet Riot - Mental Health

This cover used to scare me when I was young. It's not the mask, but that left eye. Look at it... You know you want to.

This is a kick-ass album. Along with the hits, Cum On Feel The Noise, and Mental Health, the rest of this album is just a fun listen.

Format: Vinyl - CD

Stone Temple Pilots - Core

I was lucky enough to grow up in the "Grunge" era. I loved almost everything, but I was still a POP kid.

I knew STP would be huge when we started playing Plush on Hot 102.3.

I was luck enough to get the Walmart red and black marble vinyl. So pretty when spinning.
